Vase shaped on a square plinth with four lion's paw and foliage feet, with two lion's mask and leaf-capped reeded handles, the spigot terminating in a lion's mask and with an ivory tap, the shoulder chased with leaves, the detachable cover with a fluted finial, the body and cover engraved with the initials 'MJCJ' below a viscount's coronet, the base with later detachable plate, marked near rim and inside cover, the base stamped 'RUNDELL BRIDGE ET RUNDELL AURIFICES REGIS ET PRINCIPIS WALLIAE REGENTIS BRITANNIAS' also stamped '670'

The initials are probably for Maria Frances Catherine, Viscountess Jocelyn (1794-1866), later Countess of Roden, 1st wife of Robert, Viscount Jocelyn (1788-1870), later 3rd Earl of Roden.
