Each of vase shape, the lower body decorated with leaf and flower swags on a textured ground hung from grotesque masks, the neck engraved with a band of diaperwork and rocaille strapwork, engraved with a crest, the detachable covers with a fruit finial, supported on a spreading foot, engraved with stiff leaves, marked underneath and on flange of cover
7½ in. (19 cm.) high and smaller
39.5 cm. (1,225 gr.)
The crest is that of Denny or Thomson (3)
