Each pear shaped on an openwork leaf, flower and scroll foot, the bodies chased with foliate scrolls heightened with figures and vacant cartouches, the detachable covers each with a figure finial, contained in a fitted silver-mounted leather box with a hinged cover, the bowl engraved underneath with initials 'M.E.W.', marked under foot and inside cover, the mounts each with maker's mark only
