Each oblong and with cut-corners, on spreading base, the sliding covers each with a domed cover, one larger, probably associated, each later engraved with a crest within motto, marked under base and on sliding cover, the domed covers apparently unmarked

10 oz. (285 gr.)
The crests are those of Smith as borne by the Bosanquet-Smith family of Broxbornebury, co Hertford. (2)
