Circular and with gilt interior, each side engraved with a coat-of-arms, one within the motto of the Order of the Bath marked underneath

The first arms are those of the Worshipful Company of Cordwainers

The second arms are those of Cradock quartering Newton quartering Wharton within the motto of the Order of the Bath, for Sir Michael Newton K.B., 4rd Bt. (d.1743). Sir Michael married Lady Margaret Coningsby (d.1761), daughter of Thomas, 1st Baron Coningsby (d.1729), in 1730. Lady Margaret was created Baroness and Viscountess Coningsby in 1716.
