MARK OF JEAN DELOBEL, PARIS, 1777-1778
Navette shaped, the hinged cover enamelled with alternating panels of flowers on a peach ground, and plain mauve strips, simulating silk, all on a textured ground, within a border of quatrefoils on a white ground, the sides and base similarly decorated, marked inside, on cover and on rim, fitted contemporary shagreen case with velvet lining
