Henry Fugère (1872-1944) iniziò ad esporre ai Salon parigini a partire dal 1893, figure femminili per la maggior parte realizzate in bronzo. Questo bassorilievo dovrebbe appartenere alla sua prima adesione allo stile dell'Art Déco, all'inizio del Novecento
