Both guns with pierced toplevers, treble-grip action-bodies, rebounding locks with dolphin hammers, full acanthus bouquet and scroll engraving, signed F. Couuiuassi, triggerguards gold-inlaid with owners initials, well figured stocks, the forends with family crests inlaid with gold the Chronium Molybdenum steel barrels with matt ribs, intermediate bead sights, the breech-ends with presentation inscription

Lot Essay

Specially commissioned from Beretta in 1972 the owner made a present of them to his two sons. Neither gun has been used and the remain virtually as new. They featured recently in the Italian magazine Diana Armi. They are accompanied by the makers original certificates, and a copy of a letter dated 4/7/1973 stating that the guns are unique in their manufacturing history.
