Footnote: The race was over two miles for cars capable of flying laps at over 70mph. Starting from the limit-mark on 35 seconds, Tuck held the lead to win by a narrow margin from Jules Goux on the 30hp Peugeot (scratch-mark start) whilst Malcolm Campbell finished in 3rd place on his Darracq "Bluebird III" (33sec). "The Entrant of the winning car to receive a Cup value £25".
