Note de dégustation: Vendangé à la suite d'un violent orage, ce vin à la robe rouge violette a développé des arômes mûrs et riches, se rapportant à la viande. En bouche, la première impression révèle un équilibre entre rondeur et fruité; puis la texture devient plus linéaire, libérant en fin de bouche des tannins fermes et une belle acidité. Ce Mazis-Chambetin nécessite encore deux à trois années de maturation pour s'adoucir et s'ouvrir pleinement.
Tasting note: Picked just after a heavy storm, this is purple-red of medium depth, the nose being ripe, rich and meaty. First impression shows good, round fruit, then palate texture becomes more linear, with firm tannins and fresh acidity showing on finish. Needs 2-3 years to soften and flower.
