Note de dégustation: La récolte 1994 a étrenné les nouveaux chais et salles de fermentations, au moment où, de retour aux Hospices et arrivant du Domaine Leroy à Vosne-Romanée, André Porcheret, en a repris les reines. Les nouvelles initiatives entreprises dans les vignobles et un tri attentif réduisirent la récolte, en quantité, de 30 Ce Corton présente une robe rouge grenat aux bords bruns et développe aux nez des parfumes raffinés. C'est un très bel exemple de 1994, à présent souple et onctueux, prêt à boire maintenant - 2008.
Tasting note: 1994 was the first vintage in the new vat-house and fermentation rooms, when André Porcheret returned to the Hospices de Beaune from Domaine Leroy in Vosne-Romanée, to take up the reins. New initiatives were undertaken in the vineyards, and the crop was reduced in size by 30 partly thanks to careful sorting. This Corton is garnet-red, with browning rim, and finely perfumed. It is a very pretty 1994, now supple and smooth, for drinking now-2008.
