A Robert Jones 1840 Patent plain barrel corkscrew
with two spikes, one with old soft solder repair on top of base, and with turned bone handle, no brush, the barrel marked Robert Jones & Son, 105 Cheapside Birmingham, Makers Registered Number 423 8th Octr. 1840, with other letters faintly visible, probably mis-struck, wire helix, slightly bent.
