FIVE 19TH CENTURY SILVER MEDALLIONS
Comprising a large oval medallion engraved with a bowling match and inscribed "Win it & wear it" and "Southton Augt. 1st., 1813",(Southton refers to Southampton, Co.Hants.), the reverse inscribed "No.38", also a Scottish agricultural prize medal by Robert Frazer, Edinburgh, circa 1810, engraved with motto ,wheatsheaf and agricultural implements to one side, the other with presentation for wheat crop in Gale House District for 1810, another, unmarked , engraved with cow for Ballantrae Cattle Shew (sic), Best Ayrshire Dairy Cow for 1833, also two unmarked education prize medallions,including one for French Language from the Provost & Senior Fellows of Trinity College, Dublin.
