A LATE 18TH CENTURY AUSTRIAN SILVER COVERED SUGAR BOWL,
APPARENTLY MARK OF DA SCRIPT, VIENNA, 1794, ALSO WITH LATER CONTROL MARKS FOR LEMBERG, 1806/7 AND REMARKING FOR 1809/10,
Hemispherical on pedestal foot, chased frieze of masks and foliage on frosted ground, sides chased with two oval medallions depicting classical figures, each medallion within a wreath, bead borders and domed cover capped with a triple gourd finial, the body resting on a calyx of leaves, height 8 in. (20 cm.), 18 oz.
