Three labels stained and damaged, one loose. Three with with rear body labels only. Good levels, one 2.5cms. below base of capsules
Tasting note: The Vosne-Romanee-Les Chaumes does not possess nearly the stuffing or exotic character of the Vosne-Romanee-Les Brulees. The latter wine exhibits a huge, roasted, smoky, black-cherry and raspberry-scented nose, luscious, full-bodied, opulent flavors, and loads of alcohol, glycerin, and soft tannins in the long, lusty finish. It can be drunk now and promises to last for at least a decade.
These are the finest wines the Domaine Meo-Camuzet has yet produced. I am also delighted to say that in addition to practicing a severe crop thinning in 1990, the domaine bottled their wines naturally with no filtration.
