12° (171 x 115mm). Engraved title-vignette, repeated on the front wrapper. Original brick-red wrappers printed in black (small chips and tears at extremities and spine ends). Provenance: pencilled press-mark and small case-label on spine.

The second edition, differing from the first issue only in the addition of the words 'Second Edition' to the title page and front wrappers. This Oxford squib is a parody of Walton's Compleat Angler, with two ballads: 'The Wandering Burgess' and 'A Bachanalian Ode'. Williams, Madan, Green and Crutch 94a.
