FIRST EDITION, third issue, of this rare item describing a game of billiards played on a circular table with cushions and no pockets or spots. The 'Remarks' point out the unusual rebound off a curved cushion, and illustrate the methods of scoring. Green confirms that this was not 'merely noologistic' but that the table was actually made and used. The three issues, all rare, were all printed in 1890. Williams, Madan, Green and Crutch 218.
