Provenance: [?]Owen Rutter (1889-1944). FIRST EDITION, SIGNED, WITH A LETTER TO A PARTNER OF THE PRESS. The Puppet Show was the sixth book published by the press, and it seems likely that Rutter (who became a partner of the press in August 1933), was requesting Armstrong to sign this volume and his Selection from the works of Jeremy Taylor, which the press published in October 1923.
