Engine: four cylinder in line 1057cc overhead inlet side exhaust; Gearbox: four speed manual; Suspension: semi-elliptic springs front and rear; Brakes four wheel drum, right hand drive.
The old-established Humber company flourished through the early 1920s with beautifully made, smooth-driving touring cars of modest performance and running costs.
This factory bodied 9/20 saloon example, built in April 1928, is one of the first to be fitted with four wheel brakes. Purchased by the vendor in 1962 or 1963 but is thought not to have run since wartime. It is substantially complete but partially dismantled for restoration, new tyres were fitted ten years ago and the engine has been partly rebuilt. Offered for further restoration this example should make a rewarding project.
