A SET OF FOUR WHITE JADE MINIATURES FOR AN IMPERIAL TREASURE BOX
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)

Each archaistic vessel finely carved from highly translucent mutton-fat white material, the first carved as a tripod censer with slightly flared handles; the second a footed ewer with a monster-mask suspending a loose ring below the spout; the third a wine vessel of flattened pear form, with a pair of lion-masks suspending loose rings below the rim set with raised tabs; the last a pear-shaped vase set with four dear-head handles suspending loose rings
