CLASSICAL PERIOD, CIRCA MID 5TH CENTURY B.C.
The nude youth well modelled, depicted standing toward one edge of the integral rectangular plinth, a V-shaped tenon below, the left leg straight and slightly advanced of the bent right leg, the heel lifted, the body leaning back, the shoulders square, his head turned to his left, with cap-like hair, the oval face with large lidded eyes
3 5/8 in. (9.2 cm.) high excluding tenon
