black livery, horseshoe magnet, elongated pick-ups, gold label, large windows, lightweight pony truck, disc wheels, all stock in early colours, cover strip, eight keeps, controller with instructions, oil, wire, tag, instructions dated 9.47, guarantee dated 9/12/47, in original mid-blue box with 'Royal Scot' label, 1947 (VG-E, box VG, some professional restoration, two small water stains to one lid side)

Further details
Sets in the 'Royal Scot' box were the first items available in the Hornby-Dublo range after the Second World War; very few were released in the Autumn of 1947 for the Christmas market as most production was intended for export.
