Claude Dugat is the restorer to good fortune and taste of the oft maligned and sometimes diluted grand cru Charmes. Importantly, it is also the reference mark for one of Burgundy's unique appellations: Griottes. Low yields and intense dark fruit counter the strong use of new oak casks and allow the vineyard characteristics to shine through. Kirsch, black raspberry, mulberry, liquid mineral and dark chocolate are all showcased in a velvety structure. These are palate and soul staining wines of monumental proportions.
