The dial with restored silvered alarm disc to the foliate engraved centre, later tulip-pierced hand, silvered chapter ring, signed Thos Wheelr London on the gallery fret above pierced and engraved with intertwined stylised dolphins, later gallery frets to the sides, the going train with verge escapement and central swinging pendulum, later doors with glazed wings, countwheel strike on a bell above held by brass straps (one later) and surmounted by a brass finial, restored alarm train to the backplate
