The peony-engraved dial plate centred by a brass chapter ring revolving against a single pierced brass hand, twin calendar apertures above, turned brass columns to the four angles, chain fusee for the going with balance wheel verge escapement, going barrel for the strike on a small bell above the balance wheel, the clock mounted on a shitan wood stand with key drawer to the rear, scroll feet and glazed hood
