The case inlaid to the front with a foliate design, carved top surmounted by an Eastern warrior on a horse, the dial with white enamel chapter disc with brass hour and minute hands and blued steel sweep centre seconds, floral spandrels, the arch set with the platform escapement oscillating within a mirrored niche flanked by jacquemart figures with automaton arms operating on the hour, the twin fusee movement with duplex escapement, the hours on a single bell, the quarters chiming on a nest of eight bells via eight hammers, foliate engraved backplate
