The black painted brass A-frame front plate stamped 61, with applied back-painted glass dial with Arabic chapters and blued steel hands, the escapement based on the Hipp toggle system with electro-magnetic pendulum and lead bob punch-numbered 61, the coils and battery held within the plinth with door access to the reverse, the front applied with a plaque signed Electric Clock made by The Reason MFG Co. Ltd Brighton Murday's patent with detachable glazed mahogany cover
