The triple chain fusee movement with typical pierced brass frame, going train in the centre with anchor escapement, the strike train on the left with strike on a large gong at the backplate, the quarter train with bevel gearing to the nest of eight bells between the two towers with eight hammers and pin barrel, blued steel rack work, silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and blued steel hands; on a later ebonised bood oval base and with a glass dome
