A COALPORT IRON-RED AND GILT PART DINNER-SERVICE
CIRCA 1810
Painted overall with scrolling iron-red flowerheads amongst gilt leaves and trailing tendrils, within gilt-lined rims, comprising:
an oval footed dish
two small oval sauce-tureens and covers, with scroll finials (one tureen restored, the other with slight staining)
four trefoil-shaped dishes with richly-gilt scroll handles (two with slight staining, some rubbing to gilding)
a milk-jug
four shaped oval dishes (some wear)
four shaped square dishes (one stained with chipping and cracking, one with small rim chip)
two small oval dishes
twenty-one plates (some damages)
