He standing with his arm around his companion's waist, she with her left hand out-stretched, her right hand holding a two-handled tub, both standing by a small pile of rocks on a circular plinth base moulded with coloured pebbles, grasses and foliage (her left arm restuck with damage and restoration to her hand, restored chip to brim of his hat, staff lacking from his right hand, minute flaking to black enamel of his boots)
