Probably modelled by Anton Carl Luplau, wearing a gilt-edged black tricorn hat, white jabot, red long coat, gilt-edged white waistcoat with clustered purple dots, black breeches and black shoes with gilt buckles, his right arm outstretched and his left hand holding a gilt-edged triangular container with wares on shelves, standing before a tree-stump on a shaped mound base edged with puce foliage at the front (right hand a porcelain replacement, possibly from another eighteenth century figure and holding a handle of a lacking element, chipping to hat, minute wear to gilding)
