8o. Ruled in red throughout. (Without A1, a cancelland, E6 with small tear at upper margin.) Contemporary red morocco Chapel Royal binding, gilt decorated with Greek key pattern border, corner ornaments, central stamp of the crowned royal monogram of King George flanked by cherubs over the words "Chapel Royal St. James's," spine gilt, edges gilt (some wear at extremities and spine ends, spine darkened with some rubbing). Provenance: Gilbert Nicholson (bookplate); Laurence A. Waldron (bookplate); Marino, Killiney, presumably Marino House and Casino, which was built for Lord Charlemont (bookplate); inscription on rear free endpaper.

FIRST EDITION that also includes a preface by Bayly on church music.
