Mark of Frederik Rudolf Precht, Amsterdam, 1778; the other spoon with indistinct maker's mark, Enkhuizen, probably 1708
The first with rat-tail and Charitas finial, the bowl inscribed Jantjen Eeltjes is Gebooren Den 24 October Anno 1752, the other with rat-tail and dog-nose finial, the stem inscribed Studiosus Juris, the bowl further inscribed Dirk de Vries Jacob Soon Obijt den 21 Januar 1708, marked on bowl and stem
