A French silver-gilt and silver chalice and paten
Mark of Villard & Fabre, Lyon, dated 1919
On hexagonal lobed foot, finely engraved with six silver and silver-gilt biblical scenes each applied with four diamonds, knobbed stem, the partly plain cup applied with a band of three finely engraved biblical scenes, above a text set with diamonds above, the base engraved with French text, the paten also with finely engraved silver and silver-gilt biblical scene of Christ, all in fitted wood case, marked on cup and paten
