Assembled in the late 19th century by Paul Scheidemantel, Weimar, incorporating seals from the 16th till the 19th century
Incorporating Nobility, municipalities, churches, firms, and private citizens from the Grand Duchy of Sachsen-Weimar;
each panel numbered and each seal numbered, together with a handwritten index;
19 panels and some loose seals
Each panel circa 22 cm. x 16 cm. (19)
Special notice
Christie's charge a premium to the buyer on the final bid price of each lot sold at the following rates: 23.8% of the final bid price of each lot sold up to and including €150,000 and 14.28% of any amount in excess of €150,000. Buyers' premium is calculated on the basis of each lot individually.
