modelled as a bearskin with chin strap, on an oval black Belgium slate marble base applied with an unmarked plaque with presentation inscription, the hinged cover opening to reveal a replacement blue glass liner, the front with grenade badge engraved with a crest, E.H. Stockwell, London 1883 - 3½in. (8.75cm.) overall.
