A clock of related design is in the Spanish Royal collection, illustrated in J. Ramon Colon de Carvajal, 'Catalogo de Relojes del Patrimonio Nacional', Editorial Patrimonio Nacional, Madrid, 1987, p.185, no.165. Another of related design was supplied by Gerard-Jean Galle (d.1846) to the Royal Palace in Stockholm in 1823 (see H.Ottomeyer and P.Proschel, 'Vergoldete Bronzen', Munich, 1986. p. 397, fig. 5.18.12). Other similar examples may be found in the Prado and at Malmaison.
