shaped oval, on four scroll feet, with gadrooned border and set with two pen troughs, the two baluster-form inkpots with pierced covers and gadrooned borders, the campana-form taperstick with detachable nozzle, the stand, inkpots and taperstick each engraved with a crest, marked under stand and inkpots, the base also with scratchweight 34 18, the taperstick with scratchweight 4=16
