Lot Essay

Silvano Bozzolini studied the Italian Masters in various cities in Italy. He settled in Paris and came to abstraction in 1947. Friend of Alberto Magnelli he participated in many group-exhibitions of the Salon des Réalités Nouvelles in Paris and elsewhere in Europe. Although he never left Paris, the elegance of his abstract paintings show that he did not deny his Italian roots.
