Taylor--Vintage 1970
English bottled by Gilbert and Son and John Greenhill Ltd. Some slight signs of seepage. Stained labels. Levels: seven base of neck, three top, one upper and one mid/upper-shoulder
Tasting Note: Showing well at Saintsbury Club dinners in 1996 and 1999: very sweet, full flavoured though a trifle 'edgy'. Most recently, losing some colour; very good spicy bouquet; sweet enough, very good flavour. Last tasted at the Swan Feast, Vintners' Hall, Nov 2001 **** Lovely now. M.B.
