Tasting Note: ...Penning-Roswells' '10-year' first growth tasting at which it showed off its richness of bouquet and flavour. Yet still youthful looking, with a rich, toasty nose which reminded me of warm tea and , after an hour, 'sodden wholemeal biscuits'. Palate full of fruit, delicious flavour, easy to drink (all the wines at these '10-year' tastings were served during dinner), very rich, but a slightly bitter finish. Last tasted July 1998 ***(*) 2008-2020
