The rectangular leather-lined sliding top enclosing a hinged marble-inset top fitted to the reverse with a mirror plate and enclosing a fitted interior and two drawers, with quarter-veneered frieze, on slightly cabriole legs joined by a conformingly decorated undertier, stamped 'J BIRCKLE'
