In order for this machine to be used without breaking gambling laws at the time, the plaque does not in any way deceive the player by guaranteeing it would be able to tell a person's fortune. The word fun first appears in this concept by not calling it a gaming or gambling machine. This is the first patented spinning dial fortune teller.
