A pearlware 'Grecian and Daughter' figure group
also known as 'Roman Charity', of Obadiah Sherratt type, the Grecian slave modelled half-reclining in chains and suckling from his daughter who stands next to him before two turrets and two flowering trees, above a flower-encrusted mound above a titled and swag-moulded table base, enriched in colours -- 9 1/8in. (23.2cm.), circa 1830 (restored)
