modelled seated in flowing robes, one arm raised, bocages behind him, above a scroll-moulded base, a plaque at his waist inscribed CHRIST. TEACHES.NICODEMUS.JOHN3.CH.3., enriched in colours -- 11in. (28cm.) high, circa 1815-25 (slight damages and restoration)
