Each oblong and with a shell and foliage heightened gadrooned rim, the covers with differing detachable loop handles, the first three engraved with an initial 'H' below a Royal Duke's coronet, the second three engraved with an initial 'H' within a Garter motto and below a Royal Duke's coronet, each marked on sides of base and cover and on finial, the first three also stamped 'D. & J. Wellby Ltd. 18 & 20 Garrick St. London W.C.' the second three each stamped with a column trademark, each above the legend 'Capital', some further stamped with various numbers
