Circular and with a gadrooned rim, on four ball and claw feet, engraved with an inscription below an initial 'H' within a garter motto and below a Royal Duke's coronet, marked on the back, the back further stamped 'Harman & Co. Ltd. 177 New Bond St. London. W.'

The inscription reads 'To His Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester K.G. and Lady Alice Montagu Douglas Scott on the occasion of their Wedding from the Chiefs of Missions accredited to the Court of St. James's. 6 November 1935.'
The initial is that of H.R.H. The Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester.
