The dishes circular and with a gadrooned rim, the domed cover fluted and with a part gadrooned rim, with a detachable double loop handle, one broken, each dish and cover later engraved with a coat-of-arms, the dishes further engraved with the Royal crest, the dishes marked underneath, one further engraved with a scratchweight '35=10', the other 'No.4 34=6'
the dishes 12½ in. (31.7 cm.) diam.

The arms are those of Wynn quartering Williams and others with a cadency mark of a mullet for third son, for Sir Henry Watkin Williams-Wynn G.C.H., K.C.B. (1783-1856), son of Sir Watkin Williams-Wynn 4th Bt. (4)
