FIRST EDITION IN BOOK FORM, with the earlier endpapers, the blank street sign on the cover, and the misprint Miss 'Violent' Hunter for 'Violet' on p.317, line 23.

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes was the first collection of Holmes stories to be published, following closely upon the phenomenal success of the series in the Strand Magazine.
