Woodcut frontispiece of bull, cow and boar, one leaf bookseller's advertisement on recto of frontispiece, contents leaf at end. (Light browning, small ink stains on three leaves affecting a few letters.) 19th-century speckled calf, triple gilt fillet on boards, spine gilt. Provenance: C.F.G.R. Schwerdt (bookplate; his sale, 12 March 1946, lot 2004). ONLY EDITION. Schwerdt II, p.171.

Norris, [1705?]. 12° (142 x 82mm). Woodcut frontispiece. (Wormhole in first 3 leaves touches a few letters and border round frontispiece, some browning and spotting.) Contemporary sheep (rebacked, corners repaired). [?]Fourth edition of a work first published in 1676. ESTC locates only 3 copies of this edition (NLS, Science Museum, UCL) which rather incongruously contains an additional part on the 'Art of Hawking'.
